ABOUT
Hi I'm Emily. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website!
I am a Denver area artist working primarily in hand-pulled prints. While I work a bit in many mediums, lithography has my heart. I currently co-chair Mo'Print, a nonprofit that organizes a biennial printmaking festival to celebrate the Front Range printmaking community.
My education trajectory is untraditional. I hold a BA in animation from the Art Institute of Colorado (2006), a K-12 art education teaching certificate from Metropolitan State University (2012), and an MFA in Studio Practices from CU Boulder (2025). My personal education strategy includes learning from as many people as possible, and workshop education has played a strong role in shaping me as an artist and community member.
I regularly teach workshops around Denver, and my art practice often includes working with groups to facilitate conversations about relationships with Land.
